What is Colorado Natural Best Beef?

Our beef animals are raised on our family ranch in Holyoke, Colorado. Our animals are mostly Angus Beef. Angus beef is known for its great meat qualities and for being tender, juicy, and very flavorful. This is the reason you see so much Certified Angus Beef in stores and restaurants.

Our beef animals are born in the spring of the year usually February through April. They grow up with their mothers, eating grass and drinking milk for their first seven months. During this time they are only given their vaccinations to protect them from disease. At seven to eight months the calves are weaned from their mothers, by this time they are well on their own and not relying on their mothers for sustenance. They are placed in large corrals and given plenty of hay to eat that is grown on our farm. The calves are fed a high hay diet which is similar to what they grew up on. When they reach about a year old they are placed in a grass pasture for grass fed beef or in a large corral to be finished on a high roughage diet with grain.  These cows are definitely Colorado natural beef.

All feed given to our beef animals is raised on our farm. The beef animals are considered ALL NATURAL because they have been given NO antibiotics, NO growth enhancers, NO steroids or hormones. This may take longer for the animals to reach their desired harvest weight but the benefits are worth it. You get a product that has been produced with the consumer in mind. You get an all natural product that is free of steroids, antibiotics, and hormones that is tender and flavorful.  Colorado all natural beef is our obsession.
