Here is how it works:

1.  Once you have purchased an interest in an animal you will be given a key code which you can use to watch your animal grow. You don’t have to buy a whole animal, you can buy a Quarter, Half, or a Whole animal. Or if you have friends or Neighbors you can team up and buy a whole animal but if you choose not to purchase a whole animal we will work with you. We will add your name to our waiting list and try to match you up with other consumers in your area.

2.  Once you have a key code click on the My Beef link and enter your key code.  This will bring up a picture of your animal with vital data about your animal. Our goal is to update this on a monthly basis with a picture and growth data of your beef animal.  When your beef is close to harvest weight we will include link to the processor so that you can contact them to specify how you would like your beef processed. We will set up the actual harvest date with the processor and forward that information on to you. We have several processors that we work with and will try to get one that is relatively close to your home location.

3.   The goal of this site is to let you the consumer see how your animal is raised and help you learn a little bit about how animals are raised and processed for food. Also at anytime please email us and ask any questions you may have about your animal and we will be glad to answer them.  Many people will name their animal when they buy them however we discourage this as you must remember that animal’s purpose is to become one of your food sources.

4.  We accept Cash, Check, or PayPal.  All of our animals will be priced by the head.  We follow the market closely so if the market is down your animal will cost less and vice versa if the market is up.

5. Check out our Beef List Page for those animals available for purchase, their description, key code, and price.  Once an animal is spoken for it and bought it will be removed from the list page.
